At its Ipswich location, ASDA commissioned a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade to improve long-term durability, ease of maintenance, and operational safety.

To achieve this, the site was equipped with a full suite of products from Berrys Technologies, along with integrated systems from AliAxis PLX and Fibrelite.
Key to the project’s success were the installations of Easy Riser and Vent Master, which enabled:

One of the most transformative elements was the replacement of traditional steel access covers with Fibrelite composite covers. Unlike the heavy, rust-prone steel alternatives, Fibrelite units are lightweight, durable, and easy to handle, allowing operators to safely access underground chambers without specialist lifting tools or physical strain.
In combination with PLX dual-contained pipework, the system now offers:
